Greetings, Neighbors and Friends!

​

My name is Billy Bridges and I am seeking your vote to bring out the best in Prince Georges County! I am a lifelong Christian and have a strong sense of justice, right, and wrong. I come from a large family and have two daughters of my own that attended and graduated from the Prince Georges County Public Schools. I love children and have dedicated my life to educating and protecting them. The welfare of children, the elderly, and the poor are key concerns for me. In addition, I enjoy talking with people of all classes and helping others without cost.

 

I have been a resident of this Community since 1994. I served 8 years in the United States Air Force. During my Air Force enlistments, I worked in the areas of Accounting, Auditing, and Law Enforcement. My most recent career has been with the Prince Georges County Public Schools for 20 years in various roles such as a Paraprofessional, Classroom Teacher, part-time Administrator, and Information Technology Specialist. I have earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science, Master of Arts (M.A.) in Pastoral Counseling, Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.); and Master of Science (M.S.) in Leadership (Disaster Preparedness and Fire Leadership).
