Washington Post Story and My Response
I am a first time candidate, but all of the County concerns from education to public safety to the economy and accountability for all of Prince Georges County Government are addressed in step by step procedures located on the campaign website http://www.bridges2018.wixsite.com/mysite. I appreciate the article, even though it was a little vague and misleading in some areas. I believe my Air Force Accounting, Auditing, and Law Enforcement career training was omitted. I did earn a B.A. in Political Science from Mississippi Valley State University, a M.A. in Pastoral Counseling, a Master in Public Administration, and a M.S. in Disaster Preparedness from Grand Canyon University. The article implied several Master degrees from an online university, but the Graduate degrees were earned from a regular brick and mortar accredited university that simply has an online offering of certain degrees like any other university. I realize the article has limited space, but I just like transparency and clarity for the voters.
